Playgroup: Gymnastics Center

Your Y membership includes access to any Group Ex class that is happening LIVE (look for “BROADCASTING LIVE 🎥”) and select “Virtual Content Available” to be rerouted to Zoom – How to connect to a Live Class via Zoom. Your membership also includes our member-only FREE ON DEMAND library, simply visit Your Virtual Y to see over 100 different Group Ex classes to take at any time, anywhere. To access Your Virtual Y classes, you’ll need to have set up your online member account.

Playgroup: Gymnastics Center

Join us for a safe and engaging play experience designed for young children (ages 0-5) and their guardians! Our Gymnastics Center Playgroup provides a supervised, creative space where little ones can explore, play, and socialize. We encourage full participation from guardians, making this a collaborative and interactive experience for both children and caregivers.

Gymnastics Center Playgroups follow the YMCA program session calendar.

Please take note of the following rules in our Gymnastics Center:

1. Snacks: Food is not allowed in the Gymnastics Center. If your child needs a snack, please do so outside in the hall ; please clean up any crumbs, wrappers, or trash.

2. Attire: Clothing with buttons or zippers are prohibited.  There are no shoes in the center, as they can damage our equipment, we ask that guardians to please wear socks.

3. Hair: For safety reasons, children’s hair must be tied up and away from their eyes. This is important to prevent accidents while using the equipment.

4. Hydration: Only water is allowed in the Gymnastics Center. Please bring your own water bottle, as we do not provide cups. Water bottles must have lids.

5. Gym rules: We appreciate your cooperation in following these rules.

  • Guardian supervision and participation is required during playgroup
  • No shoes, we ask that all guardians please wear their socks. Hair must be tied up at all times, no gum, no running, no screaming, and no food.
  • Playgroup participants are not allowed to touch equipment that is not placed out or has signs stating it is “off limits” for safety reasons.
  • Please treat the equipment with respect and do not throw, scratch, or pull things off of it.
  • The pit is for fun, and we do not throw pit blocks or children into the pit as it can be dangerous and cause injury.
  • The uneven and high bars are off limits.
  • Tumble Trak (trampoline) must have only one participant at a time for safety reasons.
  • Please do not pick feet/body for sanitary and health-related issues.
  • Participants who are unable to follow our center rules will be asked to leave.
