Inclement Weather

YOUR Y AND NEW ENGLAND WEATHER

Staff & Instructors travel from all over Franklin County to be at your Y. There may be times during New England weather that classes/programs will need to be cancelled. 

Notifications will be posted on our website, Facebook page, or you can call the Y for updates. The Y will re-evaluate weather conditions throughout the day to keep members updated.

If you are signed up for any classes or pool times during a weather event, make sure to follow our communications as listed below.

Should the building close early or not open in the morning, communication will be relayed via:
• YMCA website (www.YOUR-Y.org) 
• Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/YourFranklinCountyY)
• Phone Cancellation line (413-773-3646 press 2)

A Member Value Survey was emailed to all FCY members (from [email protected]) on October 15, 2025. The Member Value Survey captures authentic member voices to better understand the value that our programs, facilities, and experiences provide the communities we serve.
Please use Franklin County’s YMCA when filling out the survey.
