Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong played with a paddle and plastic ball. The rules are simple enough that the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced competition for experienced players. We offer open play:
  • Monday, Wednesday, & Fridays from 7 – 9 am
    • Free for YMCA Members
    • Just stop by the gym
  • Tuesday & Thursday from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. (All players must enter the building no later than 7:45 pm)
    • $5/night for Y Members
    • $15/night for Non Members

Introduction to Pickleball

Three-week beginner lesson will emphasize rules, basic strokes, safety on the court and utilize coached play to learn placement and movement on the court. This class is appropriate for those who have never walked on the court and those who want to develop a better understanding of the basics.

Three classes: Sundays, December 5, 12, 19
10 am – 12 noon

Our YMCA facility and all programs, classes and workout areas are open.
 
The Greenfield Board of Health has advised our School-Age Before and After School Program to be closed until Monday, December 13 due to multiple public school exposures of COVID-19.
 
Our Before & After School program area will be sanitized while remaining inaccessible during this closure. The Y Academy on Main (our Preschool program) will remain open.
