Franklin County’s YMCA Child Care Programs have provided a fun, diverse, safe, and comfortable environment for kids to learn, grow and thrive for over two decades. We create brighter futures with quality child care programs for preschoolers through school age students. The Y helps you have peace of mind while you work, knowing your children are well cared for.

Our School Age Child Care program provides youth with a safe place to go before and after the bell. More importantly, it helps youth realize who they are and what they can achieve by reinforcing positive values in a caring atmosphere, with activities designed to help kids make friends and grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit.

For students ages 5 – 14, from Greenfield, Turners Falls and Gill can enroll in this daily program.
Early Care               6:30 am to start of school
Late Care                End of school to 6 pm

Where Fitness is our Foundation
Children need 60 minutes of exercise or active play everyday. The YMCA can provide that for your child. Every week we offer swimming, gymnastics, rock wall fun, gym games, and more!

Our Child Care programs are Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) licensed. We provide a staff/child ratio of no more than 1:10, and comply with all EEC safety guidelines. We encourage parents to meet our staff and observe our programs.
